Two of these little primitive storage pots came to us and we took our time determining their destiny.  Then one day when our last beach stone match striker sold we had an AHA moment and realised they would make a perfect vessel for matches.  We added a strike pad to the bottom and Voila! we had fabulous vintage match strikers.  The vessels are estimated at 130+ years old so needless to say these are a conversation piece! 

As this is a naturally occurring material, each piece is unique and textural nuances and colour variations are to be expected.
