These Antique Brown Glazed Water Pots are striking utilitarian vessels dating from the late 19th to early 20th century. Traditionally used for storing water, rice wine and fermented foods, jars like these were an essential part of everyday household life throughout East and Southeast Asia.

Handcrafted from heavy earthenware, each pot features a rich brown glaze and distinctive comb-carved line decoration around the shoulder. The textured markings were created by hand before firing, giving every piece its own subtle variation and character. Over time, the glaze has developed a beautifully aged patina with tonal shifts ranging from deep espresso to warm chestnut.
