Primitive antique Chinese ginger jars are one of our most favourite vessels. They look fabulous styled in groups os 2's or 3's in varying sizes.  These are hand thrown ceramics that date back to the gold fields in the mid-19th century.  While, many are adorned with hand-painted traditional motifs, the years of being buried have muted the glazes and left a unique and beautiful patina.  This particular jar is the largest one we have found and is a lovely vanilla colour with grey stripes.
