A beautiful pair of antique French Terre de Fer plates by the renowned Faïencerie de Gien. Delicate blue floral transfers trail across a wonderfully aged warm ivory ground, framed by softly scalloped edges with raised moulded detailing and touches of blue.

Beautiful displayed together on a wall, layered on open shelving or incorporated into a collection of antique ceramics, the pair has developed the gentle crazing, tonal variation and timeworn patina that makes antique French tableware so wonderfully individual.
