Our Antique Primitive Ginger Jar is a beautiful piece of Australian history.  Likely dating back to the Australian gold rush era between 1850 - 1900, this is an example of clay pottery, handmade by Chinese immigrants.  It is rare to find a piece like this with the lid intact and we love the natural patina of the teal, aqua and white glaze.  It is unglazed on the interior and bears the makers stamp on the lid and bottom.
